			Without doubt the most distinctive fleet of vehicles on the south coast, some might say that our livery is ‘over the top’, but you cannot deny that our cars are easy to spot in a crowd and for safety and reassurance, unmistakable at night. Whilst the numbers of unlicensed taxis and unlicensed drivers are on the decline they still exist; our customers know exactly what car to expect when they book a ride.

			Every vehicle is licensed by Southampton City Council and is subject to a comprehensive annual inspection. Random roadside checks throughout the year ensure that all licensed vehicles are maintained in good mechanical order and meet the desired standards of cleanliness and comfort. For security the Licensed Vehicle number is clearly displayed on the doors, in the windscreen and at the rear of the car.
